Derp a derp. I didn't like any of the ones on dA currently, none of them were exactly what I wanted. And so here we are, didn't honestly take me that long but I do quite like the look of it. In 128x128 and 256x256 sizes, you can see a really neat comic book-style dot effect. I'm really happy with it.

There are two ways to use this!
1: Copy the included CDisplay.exe, CDisplay.reg, and CDisplay.icl (you don't need the ico or png files) into your C:\Program Files\CDisplay folder. (It has to be installed there!) Overwrite the original exe. Then run the CDisplay.reg (or Cdisplay caps.reg if you want to use the capital icons) and restart your computer. You will see that the exe has a shiny new icon and all of your comic book files will also have shiny icons!

2: This way is more advanced, but you can do it no matter where you installed CDisplay, or even what comic book reader you use. Extract all of the files in the archive into the same folder. Install IcoFX or GreenFish Icon Editor. Open up the executable for your comic book reader and replace the icon inside with CDisplay.ico.
Now do one of two things: 1: open up CDisplay.reg in a text editor and change the locations from C:\Program Files to wherever yours is installed. 2: Download and install any program that will let you change the icons of file-types, and simply change .cba, .cbt, .cbr, and .cbz files to their appropriate .ico files. If you are in Windows XP you should be able to do this without installing extra software.

If you're on Mac, go look up how to do all this on a Mac because I don't know I never use the damn things.

I hope you enjoy it! I really like this icon.
